How to get rid of love bugs?

Love bug is a kind of insect that you will get to see everywhere in spring season they even can get into your hair or clothes. These insects do not bite or cause any harm but they are definitely not worthy a site. The name derived as spring season is their mating season and that’s why they appear in large amount during this weather and called love bugs.

How to get rid of Love Bugs?

Even you have heard many times that there is no ways to get rid of them but there are ways which you can try to get relief from them-

1. These bugs generally hide in secret place where no one will be able to see them that is tree barks or shade of home so that makes it more difficult to kill them.
2. First of all do not try to squish them as it will be futile other that that try some new way and even you close your house completely they will get in by one means or other so that option is also not good.
3. Prepare a mixture of warm water plus citrus smelling liquid soap and a good mouthwash add this to a spray bottle and spray this solution everywhere like in the porch outside the house, trees everything these bugs hate the smell and wont come near the object having smell of this so that works well on them as prevention is better that cure.
4. Make use of insecticides that will work on them and spray the solution on the doors and windows and other part outside the house this will kill all the love bugs that touch the surface.
5. There is a cleaner available online that is called as lovebugcleaner just check by giving same name on the net and I heard it works really well to keep the bugs at bay.
6. Put the fan on every room of your house to full speed you need to do that especially in evening this will make them unable to fly inside the house and to prevent them from rushing in the house.
7. Vacuum cleaner works best just apply the sucking nozzle and suck them inside and if you cleaner is very powerful will suck each of them inside then you can throw it outside after a while.
8. They become nuisance when they stick around the windows of your car just take some oil in your hand baby oil work good as it is not that sticky and apply it over the bugs will not attach to the window.
9. Fill in your spray bottles with liquid detergent any brand will work well and just spray it without leaving any corner and see in the morning the creatures will be dead and you will be free from any of them.
10. Lastly if you are too eager then paint your house to dark shades as the bugs get attracted towards light or light colors so your house wont attract them even you can repaint only the walls outside to keep them off.
