Backstabber is a person who is your close friend but spreading false and unreal discussion, gossip about you and damaging your reputation. Backstabbers are people on which we trust and discuss our problems, life tragedies etc. but they spread these private things in society or in enemies. Backstabbers are mostly found in co-workers because most of your colleges start filling jealous about your good work and act as backstabbers. True friends never act like backstabbers but it is difficult to identify true friend and backstabbers.
Guidelines to Free Yourself from Backstabbers
- Ignore - Avoid them as much as possible. If you start ignoring then they automatically get to know that you are not interested in their friendship and they may too stop talking with you.
- Re-establish your character - Because of backstabbers act most of the time your reputation may be damaged. Re-establish your reputation by telling people that what is your character they are thinking is not true. Your friend spoiled your name because of jealousy.
- Give warning - When you come to know that one of your friends is backstabber then give warning to him for stopping gossips or false statement. Your warning may work and he may become afraid of you after warning and may get rid of backstabbers.
- Take legal action - You can file complaint against backstabbers if you are highly lost your reputation in society or business.
Techniques to Get Rid of Backstabber at Work
- Identify backstabber as early as possible is best and easy way to get rid of backstabber.
- Never ignore backstabbers at work places. Keep close watch on him and stay away from such persons as much as you can.
- When you get to know that person is backstabbers stop contact or act only formally. Don’t get close to the backstabber.
- If you can change department then go ahead so that you automatically get free from backstabber.
