Love bite or hickies are nothing but a mark or bruise caused by forceful sucking or biting of the part which results in bursting of blood capillaries due to which the blood gets surrounded around the area making the bruise red. These love bites last really long around 15 days .Generally love bites occur on neck area which are quite visible to everyone and that’s the reason why one need to get rid of it quickly to avoid any embarrassment.

How to get rid of Love Bites?

There are number of options to remove these love bites but still it will take some time keep repeating the measures

1. If you get a love bite apply some ice over it quickly this will immediately reduce the appearance of it but if its long time after having love bite then put some spoon or steel bowl in deep freezer remove after 10 min and massage gently over the bite repeat several times a day this will surely remove the bite.
2. Opposite is also good to cure love bite wet your towel in boiling water and place over the bite this will enhance the blood circulation around the area and slowly the mark will go off.
3. Just massage the hicky with your thumb lightly in circular movements this will surely help in removing the mark slowly.

Take your toothbrush and soak it in boiling hot water then rub it gently over the love bite but be cautious do it gently and if your bite is bleeding then don’t do this let the bleeding stop and perform it later. 6. Use your used tea bags on the part apply the wet teabag on the marks twice daily and see the results but yes the bags should be hot and wet to give desired result.
7. Make a paste by using ingredients available at home like baking powder salt with water and apply directly over the surface this is also a quick remedy to remove the bruises.
8. If you need urgent solution then cover the bruise by concealer of green shade specifically it works really well and covers the mark temporarily.
9. Apply some peanut butter on the surface it helps in healing of the love bite naturally though it will take some time but along with other measures use this one also
10. Last option is to cover the bruise by turtle neck dresses or band aid or make use of scarf for some days it will heal automatically.
